  • Laser therapy is painless, you will feel a relaxing warm feeling though some peoples skin is more sensitive so we always ask to let us know if the laser is too hot.

  • Dry needling should be painless and is used to relax muscles. A person may feel an initial poke but the dry needle should not be uncomfortable, if it is we remove the needle.

3. Are Chiropractors Doctors?

The short answer is yes. Chiropractors spend four years in chiropractic school to become doctors of chiropractic. Chiropractors also have to pass a four-part board examination, that includes a practical, in order to be licensed to practice. Many of the classes chiropractors take are similar to a traditional medical school curriculum, but as Chiropractors look at the body from more vitalistic perspective than medical doctors, the chiropractic curriculum can differ.

Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest nondrug, noninvasive forms of health care available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects. Current research shows that minor discomfort or soreness following spinal manipulation typically fades within 24 hours.

6.What is the popping or cracking sound associated with Chiropractic?

Adjustment (or manipulation) of a joint may result in the release of a gas bubble between the joints, which makes a popping sound. The same thing occurs when you “crack” your knuckles. The noise is caused by the change of pressure within the joint, which results in gas bubbles being released. There is usually minimal, if any, discomfort involved.
